Grants and Funding

We are now closed to applications for 2018.

The next funding round will take place in 2020, with a deadline in June 2020. Instructions will appear on this site at the beginning of 2020.

The trustees meet every other year in July to decide on approximately six to ten awards of value £250-£1500 each.

Applications are invited from women educated in Britain who have appropriate academic qualifications and who wish to undertake further training or research in the United Kingdom at any appropriate educational establishment.

Please note that we are a small trust with limited funding.  It is important to pay close attention to the FAQs before you make an application.

Please check carefully that you meet our criteria, noting the following exclusions: funding is not normally available for undergraduate degrees, PGCEs, legal practice courses, NHS career progression, counselling courses, writing-up time for a PhD, travel outside the United Kingdom or attendance at conferences. It is rare for the Trust to award funding for a postgraduate degree immediately following an undergraduate degree or for a second Masters degree.
